Assalamualaikum.....
Arghhhh.... This is so frustrating. I'm sorry but I really need to tell someone... Anyone.. So for those who dun care much, dun need to read on. Please skip this.
Last night, I was uploading photos in my facebook. It's been a long long time and I suddenly want to put my pet's photos in there. Unfortunately, as I was uploading em, TWICE, the system notify me saying that the files FAILED TO UPLOAD. Okay, fine... I'll just have to wait some other time then. It was 4 in the morning (staying up late eh..) So I closed the internet explorer, shut down my laptop and sleep...
Well well well... The next thing I knew, Kay was waking me up and asking me
"Mimi, just wanted to know. Did you really uploaded these photos?"
I looked. Then I looked again. And again. Kay changed to another photo... OWH NO!!!!!! Ya Allah.... The folder that I took the pets' photos was from my family's folder. From the originally 5 rabbits and cats photos that I selected, almost HALF of the photos the folder contained were uploaded!!!! Those of me and my family too.... Argghhhhhh..... huhu~
So I frantically deleted the album. The entire album. Checked with other friends to see if the thumbnails of my photos were still available. And Alhamdulillah, it all vanished away...
BUT! But after the relief, I noticed an email. "*********** commented on a photo of you" WHAT???!!!! That person viewed already and didn't say anything else except "this looks cuter than your pets" Ya Allah...... I dunno what to say nor what to think. I was too embarassed, too shocked and too angry at myself for such a stupid mistake. And I am still, too frustrated to think of it. Aih~~
"Dun put your blame on me. It wasn't my fault... Tha facebook is for public viewing anyway"
Of course it's not your fault. I KNOW it's not your fault!!! but... but.... But why... Why did you have to look at ALL the photos? Why didn't you notify me of it?
~sigh~ What did he see about me? Doesn't it looked awkward seeing such photos of me being uploaded like that?? Isn't it weird? Didn't he even think "Is this really Mimi?"?? Or do I really carry a not-care-less attitude that it doesn't bother him at all?? Am I someone that wud expose private family photos... photos of us at home... to others? Am I like that? Am I???!! Ya Allah.... What had I done... What am I to do.... What should I do....?

My Family, My Pride
Assalamualaikum...
Waa~ my imoto now has a blog of her own too!! Congrats, lil gal. And hopefully your words will inspire others in your own and unique way. At least, know that I will ^^
"There aren't many things that a parent and child can agree on. From the instant a child is born, the parent and child become close rivals. They love each other the most, but they are the most fearful opponent to each other. A parent has dreams for his child, and the child has expectations for his parent. After a series of fights, they come to term with each other. And they never end up hating each other. They can't help loving each other. That's the kind of rivals they are"
-from the drama Virgin Road-
My family... the most precious people that I have. We went through a lot together to reach where we are now. We laugh and we smile, we cry and we yell, we're afraid to lose them but we're afraid not to let them loose either. We worry about a lot of things and we overcome many others. Of course, for us, the children, getting scolded is normal. But I believe ibu and ayah learnt a lot from us too.
We have a strong front. Yeah.. being the family member of an army officer demands a lot from you. From our appearance right down to our manners, we're scrutinized. And yet, despite the strong appearance that we have, we are really fragile inside. Really really sensitive. Thus we depend on each other to stay strong.
My family, my pride... That's what Aisyah wrote. Well, what more can I say...?
"You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them" -Desmond Tutu-

.: Selingan Harian :.
Hmm... tadi kata kat Kay malas nak menulis. Ni dah masuk post yg ketiga dah ni. Aih... Mimi yg tetiba dapat ilham menulis... Xpe2. Lepas post yg ni, gi tidur, ok. Baik! =)
Chaiyok!! \(^,^)/
Hoho... buktinya? Alhamdulillah, hari ni x tidur pun kat dalam lecture hall. Satu pencapaian, tu!! Kami mulakan kuliah dengan module Cardiovascular and Respiration dan Molecular Medicine. Waa~ tiba2 terasa benar kebesaran Illahi sewaktu belajar tentang degupan jantung.
Yakin tu!!!

Jantung kita
Day 0 ~Barcelona~
Our flight arrived around 11 pm, 28 January 2009 at Girona Airport. We're lucky since the person at the bus ticket counter speaks English. Eh?? 21 euros?? Whoa... for a 1 hour bus ride, that sum really makes us gasped. But since there's no other way round, we bought the ticket, and boarded the bus.

Next stop, Arc de Triomf Metro Station (for those who doesn't know, Metro is the public transport network comprising of underground trains in Spain). Haa~ now here's the first time our Spanish was tested... by the ticket machine. haih~ it's a good thing that our ever efficient transport manager, kak Izzati had studied the tickets before (online) so with limited vocab, we made out that 10 viajes means 10 trips n billetes (pronounce bi-yeh-tes) stands for tickets. Touch touch the screen and we succeeded in buying those tickets. This further request 7.70 euro from our pockets.
Our stop, Pep Ventura Station. Here we asked 2 construction workers on how to get to our hostel. Guess what. From Spanish, they spoke little English and then it's all Arabic!! Ahax, the 2 men are from Moroco. Lin and Kak Izzati (who had learnt Arabic in their secondary school) became our middle person. Funny, but hearing them speak Arabic, even if it's just a little made me feel... I dunno... wonderful? No... Excited? Well yeah... Hmm.... Dunno. But it made me feel good inside. And with that, I feel eager to learn more about the language of the Quran
Haza share' = this road
Alhamdulillah... We safely arrived in our hostel, Barcelona Dream a few minutes later. We booked 2 rooms; 1, a dormitory of 8 beds ensuite and a private bedroom with shared bathroom (to accomodate all 9 of us).
The hostel was amazing! Ahax, we have to use our key cards even to lock and unlock the locker (we should see how delighted the others were testing their cards. Hehe... children getting a new toy ;) ) The atmosphere was wonderful, the airconditioning perfect and the toilet was ok. Compared to the other hostels we stayed in in Spain, Barcelona Dream will rank the first.
After solat, most of us went to bed and slept soundly in minutes. Yeah... that's what a cozy bed can do to you. As for me, I stayed up a little late with Kak Muizzah and Kak Izzati to plan our destinations in Barcelona since we are in charge of that place. We came up with a plan A and a plan B. But that will be an other story... (^,^)
At the Metro Station. *WARNING!! Some stations have flights and flights of stairs. So don't dress to kill unless you want to kill your feet*
the 'high tech' locker that they like
~Jaulah Spain~
Alhamdulillah... Kembali sudah saya ke bumi Dublin. Waa~ tak sangka saya akan berkata begini, tapi... aih... rindunya kat rumah!!! (^,^) Ahax, baru faham bila Kak Dya kata dia akan jadi 'homesick' kalau pergi berjalan-jalan lama sangat. Betul betul. Rindu kat katil... Kat toilet... Kat dapur... Kat duvet... Kat makanan yang melimpah ruah di atas meja... Seronok memang seronok, tapi sampai satu tahap, rumah jua tempat paling menarik *sniff.. sentimental*
Banyak betul yang berlaku sepanjang 9 hari menjelajahi bumi Sepanyol. Tapi jenuh kalau nak ditulis semua sekali arung. Pembaca pun mesti penat menekan kekunci nanti. InsyaAllah...
